Samarbeidsprosjekt mellom Oslo Universitetssykehus, Ullevål og Feiringklinikken. Kartlegging av fysisk form, hjerterytmeforstyrrelser, sykelighet og dødelighet hos eldre Birkebeinere. Dette er en 28-30 årsoppfølgingsstudie. Avhandling ferdig i 2011 viste at Birkebeinere lever lengre, men har økt forekomst av atrieflimmer.
